ED-MUN

São Paulo, Brazil

Ed-Mun is a Brazilian street artist known for his surreal, futuristic compositions that blend psychedelic abstraction with layered symbolism. Drawing inspiration from graffiti, sacred geometry, and spiritual architecture, his work often explores the intersection of the mystical and the technological. With bold color palettes and intricate linework, Ed-Mun creates dreamlike environments that feel both ancient and otherworldly—murals and digital pieces that pulse with cosmic energy and meditative intensity. Based in São Paulo, he continues to push visual boundaries while maintaining deep roots in urban art culture.

THREE QUESTIONS

  • You’re deeply rooted in Brazil, but have painted murals across Latin America, North America, Europe, and the US How has traveling shaped the symbols, styles, or cultural messages in your work? Is there something you understood in one city that reframed your view of Brazil when you returned?

Yes, I’m Brazilian, from a quiet city called Belo Horizonte. I’ve painted in several countries and had many experiences that have shaped not just my art, but also my way of seeing and thinking about different realities. Traveling expands the mind and helps it evolve—it teaches you to think outside the box. But now, my journey is about returning to where I was born and bringing something new back with me to share with the world.

  • Your 3D graffiti - immersive, structural, and transformative - breaks the surface of walls and jumps out into the real world. What draws you to that kind of spatial intervention? In what way does it challenge the idea of graffiti as just a “tag” or “image” and turn it into physical architecture?

Sometimes I feel I even strayed too far from the essence—though I always wanted to stay true to it. My letters evolved and became something more realistic. I like to merge the letters with the wall, to create something unique. The wall surrounds the letter, and the letter enters the wall. I don’t like leaving it loose or disconnected. It has to belong to the space.

  • Language begins with symbols - marks we’ve agreed upon to shape thought, transmit feeling, and construct reality itself. In your work, especially your alphabet-based pieces which we are offering as prints, those foundational symbols become elastic, alive, almost mythic. How do you see graffiti - and your own art - as a way of breaking open the rigid forms of language?

I believe graffiti writers have changed how we write and communicate—not by creating new letters or alphabets, but by redesigning the ones we already have. We make them looser, give them shape and movement. It’s like the traditional alphabet was a skeleton—and we gave it muscle and rhythm. We make the letters dance.

WHAT IS THE ART RITUAL?

Every Friday at 12PM PST -  a new artist steps forward to offer a sacred collection — a one-time-only special release that blends contemporary art, apparel, and storytelling.

The Art Ritual is more than just a product drop. It’s a living, breathing creative ceremony. Each volume includes three pieces: a limited-edition apparel item, a fine art print, and a gallery-quality canvas — all available for just seven days. Once the week ends, the ritual is sealed, and that edition is never released again.

By participating, you're not just collecting art — you're becoming part of a growing movement. A global circle of collectors, creators, and dreamers, all united in the celebration of imagination, transformation, and expression.

This is your invitation to witness the process, connect with new artists, and bring something rare and powerful into your space.
