Honestly one of the absolute nicest pieces of clothing I own. Nice and heavy and the silk inside feels incredible against the skin.
The jacket itself is amazing quality and material, wonderful placement of pockets, thoughtful attention to detail with the zipper pull options, and I love the size of the hood.
It's plenty warm for being somewhat active outdoors in temperatures that are common in the Rocky Mountains or the Cascades in the winter time, but if you try to wear this in the subzero temperatures common in the upper Midwest and/or Canada you will definitely feel the cold.
It's a great jacket, good for temps above -10c, insulation is a bit thin for colder temps I find, but lots of room to wear a sweater underneath.
Size wise, I found it a bit on the big side, if you're on the edge of a size for hoodies, I would suggest going with the smaller option here.
The Design was as shown not darker or brighter and the interior is gorgeous!
Build quality fits the price point, I did have a few loose threads, and the ends of the zippers in the breast pockets stuck out a bit (metal staples) and I had to hammer them back into the jacket to prevent clothing from catching on them.
This is the best jacket I own (and most expensive 😂🤣). I highly suggest it!
I love the design, quality, vibrance, the warmth and all of the pockets! In fact, I would say the jacket can get a bit too warm and suggested that a vent zipper under the armpits would make this perfect!
