• Golden OPEN acrylics: Landscape Painting set (titanium white, sap green, cad. yellow light, cad. red light, alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue, manganese blue, yellow ochre) + Paynes Gray & Burnt Umber (in addition to landscape colors)
• Regular acrylics will also work fine! Recommended to use a retarder like the slow-dry blending medium from liquitex
• Brush assortment: Angle Shaders, filberts, Liners/rounds, fan - varied small to medium in size
• Mini spray bottle
• Small flat tupperware with lid for palette, or sta-wet palette
• Plastic water container with lid (I use a talenti container to pack out the dirty water)
• Small Rag / Towel
• Sketchbook
• White charcoal pencil or chalk
• Small canvas for landscape practice day (8x10 up to 11x14)
• Small rigid canvas panel, primed (toned if you desire) for plein air painting. I recommend 8x10 inches.
I don’t typically plein air paint with an easel, but feel free to use one if you prefer. Be prepared with twine or rope to tie everything down for gusts of wind.
